Ilea has been managing her own successful commercial furniture business, Ninetwofive interiors, for 15 years, representing a number of suppliers including Steelcase—the world’s largest commercial furniture manufacturer. She purchased Ninetwofive Interiors in 2003 and founded Ninetwofive Sustainability in 2005. Through these two companies, Ilea and her teams assist businesses in lowering their environmental footprint and delivering on their goals by creating workplaces that engage and inspire.
Ilea is also a non-executive director and deputy chair for Northside Community Service, a not-for-profit organisation helping the disadvantaged, families and the elderly in the Canberra community.
Ilea is an ACT Divisional Councillor for the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is currently serving on their National Reporting Committee. Ilea’s has also served as the National Business Development Director for the Australian Multiple Birth Association.
Ilea is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (2010) and recently graduated from their capstone course – Mastering the Boardroom (2017). She also holds a Diploma of Business (2009). She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Managers and Leaders and was awarded Telstra’s ACT Young Business Women of the Year in 2004.
