Paul has been a Partner in professional consulting firms for over 21 years, including Canberra firms Acumen Alliance and Callida Consulting, where he was a Founding Partner.

Paul has over 35 years’ experience in reviewing and improving organisational outcomes for the public sector, commercial, and not for profit organisations. Paul has core skills in finance and IT, and through these disciplines has been involved in a diverse range of reviews and improvements for organisations. These range from advising on and delivering technical, functional, and process improvement solutions, through to strategic reviews and plans.

His technical background and experience, combined with his ability to consult and liaise across all levels of an organisation and stakeholder groups, has assisted him in understanding organisational drivers and outcomes, and in identifying organisational barriers and opportunities to achieve those outcomes.

At a practical level, he has conducted and led teams in delivering reviews and practical outcomes across a range of subject areas including ICT strategy, enterprise business systems, business process improvement, procurement, and costing and financial modelling.

Paul has strong experience in managing organisations and implementing change. His ability to manage people and content within technically complex projects allows him to assist organisations in aligning their strategy, systems, policies, processes, and workforce capability, to ensure the success of business reform projects.

Paul is a Commerce Graduate from the Australian National University, a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Senior Certified Professional of the Australian Computer Society, and a Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors.

Paul is passionate about helping to make a positive change for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. He is an Independent Director (pro-bono) of Tjillari Justice Aboriginal Corporation.
